3. Products and Specifications
DISAR markets food-grade cling film (PVC plastic film) in various sizes and thicknesses, including:
- Cling film 12″ × 2000 ft (30.5 cm × 610 m), 12 microns, in a box with cutter, packed in master cases of six (6) rolls. Product kept in inventory, subject to stock availability, and sold both retail (per roll) and wholesale (per master case).
- Custom cling film: sizes, thicknesses and presentations manufactured at the Customer’s request, available exclusively wholesale. The quantity, price, and production and delivery lead times are agreed by negotiation between DISAR and the Customer and are set out in the accepted quotation.
Images on the Site are for illustrative purposes only. Dimensions, thickness and weight may be subject to the industry’s normal manufacturing tolerances. The final specifications of each order are those set forth in the quote accepted by the Customer.
4. Ordering Process and Formation of the Contract
- The Customer submits an order request through the Site’s form, WhatsApp, telephone or email.
- Submitting the form does not constitute a purchase, does not incur any charges and does not obligate DISAR to accept the order.
- DISAR will confirm in writing the availability, price, taxes, shipping cost, payment method and delivery time by means of a quote, pro forma invoice or invoice.
- The sales contract is concluded when the Customer accepts such confirmation and, where applicable, makes the indicated payment or advance payment.
DISAR may reject or cancel requests containing incomplete or false information, due to lack of inventory, obvious pricing errors or suspected fraud, by notifying the Customer and refunding any amount received.
5. Prices, Taxes and Payments
- Prices are expressed in United States dollars (USD) for El Salvador and for exports, and in quetzales (GTQ) or USD for Guatemala, as indicated in the quote.
- Unless otherwise indicated, prices do not include the Value Added Tax (IVA) applicable in each country, shipping costs, insurance, tariffs, import duties or customs procedures in the country of destination.
- Quoted prices are valid for the period indicated in the quote. After that period, they may be updated according to the costs of raw materials, freight and exchange rates.
- Accepted payment methods: bank transfer, deposit and any others indicated in the quote. Custom orders require an advance payment, the percentage of which is set forth in the quote; the balance shall be paid prior to dispatch, unless credit has been approved in writing.
- The corresponding tax documents (invoice, tax credit voucher or FEL electronic invoice, depending on the country) will be issued with the information provided by the Customer, who is responsible for its accuracy.
6. Deliveries and Shipping
- Stock products: the 12″ × 2000 ft · 12-micron cling film is kept in our warehouse, subject to stock availability. No dispatch or delivery date is guaranteed in advance: it is set with the Customer after the order has been reviewed and is stated in DISAR’s written confirmation.
- Custom orders: the production and delivery time will be indicated in the quote and will begin to run from the confirmation of specifications and receipt of the advance payment.
- Delivery methods: pickup at the warehouse or office, domestic delivery to the Customer’s address, or international shipping.
- International shipping: DISAR ships worldwide. Delivery terms, transfer of risk and allocation of costs shall be governed by the trade term (Incoterms® of the International Chamber of Commerce) agreed upon in the quote. Unless otherwise agreed, tariffs, taxes and import procedures at destination shall be borne by the Customer.
- Delivery times are estimates. DISAR shall not be liable for delays attributable to carriers, customs, authorities, weather conditions or force majeure events, although it will use its best efforts to inform the Customer of and minimize any delay.
7. Receipt, Warranty and Returns
Inspection. The Customer must inspect the goods upon receipt and record any visible damage on the delivery document. Claims for shortages, transit damage or apparent defects must be notified to clientes@disarlogistics.com, with photographs, within five (5) business days following receipt.
Warranty. DISAR warrants that products are delivered in accordance with the confirmed specifications and free from manufacturing defects. If a defect is verified, DISAR shall, at its option, replace the product, issue a credit note or refund the price paid for the defective units.
Exclusions. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper storage (direct exposure to sunlight, excessive heat or humidity), misuse, incorrect handling or normal wear and tear.
Returns. Custom products, manufactured according to the Customer’s specifications, are not eligible for return or exchange, except in the case of a verified manufacturing defect. Inventory products may be returned only if unopened, in their original packaging and with DISAR’s prior written authorization.
End consumers. Where the Customer is an end consumer, nothing in these terms limits the rights granted to them under the applicable consumer protection legislation — in El Salvador, the Ley de Protección al Consumidor (Consumer Protection Law); in Guatemala, the Ley de Protección al Consumidor y Usuario (Consumer and User Protection Law, Decree 006-2003) — including, where applicable, the right of withdrawal in distance sales within the time periods and under the conditions established by such legislation.
8. Proper Use of the Product
PVC cling film is designed to wrap, protect and preserve food and other products. For safe use, we recommend:
- Do not use it in conventional ovens or on grills, or in direct contact with flames or hot surfaces.
- In microwave ovens, do not allow the film to come into direct contact with food, especially fatty foods.
- Store rolls in a cool, dry place protected from direct sunlight.
- Keep out of the reach of children and do not use as a toy (risk of suffocation).
9. Use of the Site
The User agrees to use the Site lawfully and not to: (a) provide false information; (b) submit fraudulent or bulk requests; (c) attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data; (d) introduce viruses or malicious code; or (e) use the Site’s content for purposes contrary to the law or to these terms.

11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DISAR’s total liability arising from an order is limited to the price actually paid for the products giving rise to the claim. DISAR shall not be liable for indirect damages, lost profits or loss of business opportunities. This limitation does not apply in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, nor to consumers’ non-waivable rights.

Neither party shall be liable for any failure to perform or delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, conflicts, strikes, port or border closures, acts of authority, or widespread transportation or communications failures. Deadlines shall be extended for the duration of the impediment.
13. Personal Data Protection
Personal data provided by the User will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms and Conditions.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Transactions carried out by the Salvadoran company are governed by the laws of the Republic of El Salvador, including the Código de Comercio (Commercial Code), the Ley de Protección al Consumidor (Consumer Protection Law) and the Ley de Comercio Electrónico (Electronic Commerce Law); and any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of San Salvador.
